1. Makita XLC02RB1W 18V LXT Vacuum cleaner
How can you keep your shop and other areas clean? A great potion can be the box-style vacuums. While the box-style vacuums are great for quick pick-ups, they can be cumbersome if you need to vacuum larger spaces.
Although stick vacuums can be an option, not all stick vacuums work well. There are only a few that I like. The Makita vacuum attachment and Cyclonic attachment changed all that.
This system is powerful, has great runtime, and works well. Let’s now take a look at the Makita Cyclonic Cordless Vacuum.
Makita Cyclonic Cordless Vacuum Overview
Although we don’t know how many Skus are in each line-up of power tool manufacturers, our research says that Makita has one of the largest lines. You can find everything you need, from corded dust extractors to cordless backpack vacuums to stick vacs. They have vacuums for both the 12V and 18V lines.
Today, we will be looking at a 2-piece system. Makita XLC02Zb, a stick vacuum based upon the 18V battery, has been around. This vacuum is great and has received amazing reviews.
Makita recently released the Cyclonic attachment (199553-5), which provides better performance and dust management. This small container can be used in conjunction with the XLC02ZB.
What Else Do You Get?
Makita’s cordless vacuum model XLC02ZB has a 2-stage, bagless cloth filtration system. This vacuum is lightweight at 3.2 pounds and can be used to clean any type of space, including a shop, truck, RV, or another vehicle.
The motor produces 46 CFM, which is quite powerful for a small cordless vacuum.
The vacuum system is made up of a motor and canister. Next, you will find the extension rod that connects to the head attachment.
Although you can use another 18V Makita battery in the vacuum, it is best to use a 5Ah battery. This will give the vacuum approximately 33 minutes of runtime.

You can turn the vacuum on or off by simply pressing a trigger. It looks a lot like a drill.
It is easy to clean and empty the vacuum. Also, you can conveniently clean all filters and put them in.
You can purchase the Cyclonic separately or as a complete kit. This is a favorite add-on because it captures as much as 90% of all debris. This ensures that the main canister is free from debris, allowing longer runtimes and fewer cleaning filters.
Installation of the Cyclonic is simple. The Cyclonic attaches to the top of the main canister head. The 360-degree rotation of the canister ensures that it does not get in the way of vacuuming.
Two buttons are needed to open the canister. The cordless vacuum is easy to clean and provides a real performance boost.
Makita Cyclonic Cordless Vacuum Performance
We even used this vacuum on a doorway of one of our tester’s brother’s woodcraft shops in our testing. People walk in from the woodshop, which has a lot of dust and other debris. Makita Cyclonic Cordless Vacuum did a great job picking up dust and small debris from heavy foot traffic.
The vacuum was clean and free from dirt. This means the vacuum’s suction isn’t being reduced or increased by dirt buildup.
The Cyclonic compartment was used to collect all dirt and debris. It is easy to empty and allows the air to flow freely to the top vacuum.
It was very reliable for all of the time that we used it. We were using a 5Ah battery. It did an excellent job of picking up dirt. Although it didn’t pick up any large screws, it could still do a great job. It does a great job cleaning up dirt and other debris.
Are they really of great value?
Amazon has the vacuum and Cyclonic vacuums for $105 (which may change with time). You can expect to pay $35 if you already own the vacuum but want to purchase the Cyclonic attachment. The cordless vacuum will cost you about $70 if you only need it.
Our experts believe $105 is a fair price for a vacuum that works well, lasts a long time, and doesn’t require me to carry a cord. It’s worth it. It’s well worth it if you have Makita tools and plan to invest in Makita products.
The verdict Makita Cyclonic Cordless Vacuum Wrap
Makita has probably the best cordless vacuum line. They have the expertise and quality to back it all. The cordless vacuum was already a leader, and the Cyclonic is a great addition to the pack.
This vacuum is a great buy for anyone who needs to clean up after completing a job, clean out their shop, or clean their truck.

2. Makita XLC02RB1W 18V LXT Vacuum cleaner
The Makita 18V LXT is a solution to one of the most important issues that cordless vacuums face: charging time.
The lightweight vacuum will take about 25 minutes to charge.
To give you the numbers for reference, the Dyson DC59 Motorhead uses a Nickel Cobalt Manganese battery that will require around 3 1/2 hours to recharge. The Black and Decker Platinum BD2000FL is longer at five hours.
Both of these vacuums are among the top sellers on Amazon’s bestsellers list.
As a Makita, you can anticipate high-quality from the Makita. You can utilize it in your workshop to use as an industrial vacuum, in your home, or in your vehicle.
The XLC02R1B is the most recent version, but the functions and features are similar to the earlier versions. The XLC02R1B does not come with a motorized brush, so do not expect much from it regarding cleaning the carpet.
It can last for as long as 15 minutes.
One thing to note is that this isn’t able to clean medium/plush carpets since it lacks motorized brushes.
In addition to that, the device can also pick up any item as long as it can fit into the opening.
This model is the most recent variant of the BCL180W Makita, which is currently not available on Amazon.in

What Can We Expect From This Super-Charged Makita?
One of the best benefits of this cleaner is its fast charging which will take just 25 minutes to charge. It comes with Makita’s trademarked “Star Protection Computer Controls,” which protects the battery from overloading and charging.
It comes with a two-stage filtering system for clothes that can work even when it has a lot of fine dust. While other vacuums have trouble cleaning sawdust, this one will work efficiently.
You don’t have to worry about keeping it in the charger longer than you need to. The battery also has an inbuilt fan to cool the battery while it is charging and helps prolong the life of the battery.
1. Attachments and Accessories
It includes a set of three tools – (1) flooring tool, (2) crevice tools, along (3) extension tool. It is possible to store the crevice tool inside clips that are attached to the wand.

2. Battery Life
According to Makita, the time to run has grown 50 percent, which means that instead of 10 minutes, it is now 15 minutes when running continuously.
Similar to the Dyson electric vacuum cleaner, this one will need to hit the power button in order to operate. It’s not the most pleasant to operate, but it is designed to make the most of your run time.
3. Charging Time
It takes about an hour to fully charge the lithium-ion 18-volt battery. That’s about 10 minutes longer than the previous version. But, Makita says that this version comes with a system known as “Star Protection” Computer controls that safeguard against over-discharging and overloading.
4. Filter Clean up
Cleanup is simple.
Take the dirt out of the cup by twisting. There are two components to wash – the pre-filter and the filter itself. To take out the pre-filter, simply twist it and take it off. Carefully tap it against the trash bin to get rid of any dirt.
Makita provides customers with a 3-year guarantee on the tool as well as one year of warranty for the batteries.
6. Not suitable for those who are tall
The total length of this vacuum is only a little less than 40 inches if you add an extension tool. This is a little smaller than other stick vacuums, and when you’re more than the height of six-foot, you’ll need to bend to use it on floors.
7. Bare Floor Performance
The majority of the people agree that for floors such as hardwood or tile, this cordless can perform at its best. The suction power is powerful enough to remove all kinds of dust or pet hair that are deposited on the surface.
The floor tool underneath lies a rubber squeezer, which is used to funnel dirt towards the chamber for suction. Also included is a crevice tool. In that case, you require cleaning bigger pieces, like nuts or bolts.
If you have cheerios, then the crevice tool could remove these items.
8. Pet Hair Removal
The absence of a motorized brush reduces the effectiveness of the job of cleaning hair from pets. It can remove pet hair on carpets; however, on the carpet, it will not be able to remove hair that is embedded in a moderate pile or the shaggy rug.
If you’re looking to remove pet hair from upholstery, you can try the crevice tool.
9. Carpet Performance
It is not equipped with a motorized brush. This limits the cleaning of surface dirt from a low pile carpet. If you’ve got a lot of carpets in your home, you should stay clear of this.
10. Upholstery Performance
The crevice tool works perfectly in cleaning smaller particles of dirt and loose dirt on furniture (as long as it can fit into the crevice’s opening tool). It’s missing dusting brushes, which could have been useful in cleaning areas like keyboards or vents.

What Do People Think of This Model?
Although it’s an extremely new product and has been used by a lot of people, everyone who has used it was impressed by the way. It performed well on plain floors.
Its strengths were light and strong suction. The greatest part is that they didn’t need to wait for long periods to recharge fully. However, Makita stated that it could take as long as 25 mins to charge completely. A few customers claimed that it took about 15 mins.
One user mentioned that he removed the rubble squeegee from underneath this floor device, making it much easier to work with it on the carpet.
He claimed that the performance of cleaning did not suffer even when you removed it, and it’s possible to install it in the future because it’s equipped with a recessive grove.
Some consumers bought it because they had other Makita products with similar batteries. Many have said that it would not perform well on carpets since it didn’t have a motorized brush.

3. Makita XCV11Z 18V Cordless Vacuum Cleaner
The compact dimensions, low weight, and soft noise level of the Makita XCV11Z make it an excellent portable vacuum cleaner. These features make it suitable for use indoors or in the car.
A HEPA filter and pre-filter make it ideal for indoor and outdoor use. Its powerful and reliable performance ensures a long life for batteries. XPT(TM) technology prevents the tool from overheating and ensures a long battery life.
That was just a glimpse of what Makita XCV11Z offers you.
Low suction rating
The low suction rating of the Makita XCV11Z 18-volt cordless vacuum is one of the vacuum’s major shortcomings. Despite its compact dimensions and a brushless motor, it’s still able to collect even the heaviest debris.
In addition, it’s also lacking in a few cool features like an extension wand. Therefore, look no further if you’re looking for a cordless vacuum with a brushless motor.
The Makita XCV11Z 18-volt cordless wet/dry vacuum has a brushless motor, two-gallon collection capacity, and a runtime of 60 minutes. The vacuum’s features include a hose wrap, a storage bag, and a two-gallon waste bin. However, its low suction rating might turn off some potential buyers.
Wide 1 1/8 inch hose diameter
The Makita XCV11Z is a vacuum cleaner with a wide 1-1/8 inch hose diameter. It has low suction and isn’t great for picking up dense objects. However, it does have a few cool features that make it a great tool for homeowners. It also has a self-retracting hose.

This vacuum features an Anti-Static hose, cloth filter, variable speed control dial, dual-LED battery indicators, and locking rear casters for stability. The Makita XCV11Z 18V also has an anti-slip mat and a large rubber bumper. It also has a 1.6-gallon dust bin and an anti-clogging filter.
Extreme protection technology (XPT(tm))
If you’re looking for a cordless tool with great power and is highly convenient, this model is a perfect fit. Makita cordless tools are engineered for industrial use and include STAR Protection Computer Controls. STAR monitors conditions while the tool is in use.
The system protects against overcharging, overloading, and overheating. If any of these conditions are present, the tool will stop automatically and prompt you to change the battery.
This tool has the latest in Makita Extreme Protection Technology (XPT). This patented design channels water and dust away from the internal components. The result is increased durability and long tool life.
This tool also comes with a WD DC Power Supply, which means it’s easy to charge quickly and easily. The WD DC Power Supply also has enhanced dust and water resistance.
Fast charge times
With the 18V Compact Lithium-Ion battery, the Makita XCV11Z reaches new levels of efficiency. Makita’s Rapid Optimum Charger (ROC) monitors battery condition and delivers a faster charge. The ROC’s built-in fan cools the battery to speed up the charging process. The ROC also helps extend battery life.
The Makita BL1850B-2 battery has sixteen different contact terminals to keep the tool in constant communication. The BL1850B-2 battery is resistant to temperature extremes of -4 degrees Fahrenheit, yet it still provides the run times you’ve come to expect.
Fast charge times help you get more work done in less time. Using a Makita 18V tool for industrial applications is safe and effective, thanks to the tools’ STAR protection system.
Convenience and Price
The Makita XCV11Z 18-volt cordless vacuum cleaner is designed to perform well in most situations. It is compact, powerful, and quiet. Its HEPA filter is a plus, and it uses a brushless motor.
It weighs 10.1 pounds and is surprisingly easy to handle. However, the XCV11Z’s suction capacity is questionable, especially for heavier items.
When looking for a cordless wet/dry vacuum, look for the Makita XCV11Z 18-volt cordless vacuum cleaner. This vacuum comes with a brushless motor, a two-gallon collection tank, and 60 minutes of runtime.
It has a built-in hose wrap and accessory docks. So, it is priced at $249. While this cordless wet/dry vacuum is not the most powerful vacuum cleaner on the market, it does have many features you will find useful.
