Eureka 2 in 1 Stick Vacuum Review

You are currently viewing Eureka 2 in 1 Stick Vacuum Review

This Eureka quick-up 96F is a bargain hunter’s alternative to the more extravagant $100 plus sticks vacuums, such as those from the Hoover Linx Stick Platinum or the Rowenta Delta Force.

If you have linoleum, hardwood flooring, laminated, or tiled floors in your house, then the 96F can be a nice option to add to your cleaning tools.

This isn’t intended to replace a large vacuum cleaner, but for people between clean-ups, they perform well.

The 96F is very similar to the 96JZ, which we wrote about weeks ago. Both models have the same features, motor, and dimensions.

The main differences are color and price, and the 96JZ has an additional battery.

We have reached out to Eureka quick-up 96F regarding these vacuums, and they have confirmed the fact that each of these Quick Up 96 series vacuums is identical – the distinction is in the color, availability, and additional features.

We will simply detail the reviews from users here so that we can give you an idea about what people think.

Customer Reviews

Eureka Quick (1)

More than 300 people wrote reviews on Amazon, with more than 200 rating it five stars and more than 60 rating it four stars. Many have purchased a Eureka vacuum more than once!

Some of the people who wrote praise included pet lovers who loved the fact that it was able to remove not just pet hair but also pet food from their floors. They cautioned that hair could become stuck between the bristles on beater brushes.

Parents also love the small and lightweight design, allowing them to tidy up the mess caused by their children in a short time. Cleaning the filter can be messy. Some suggested using soaps for cleaning the filters at least twice per month.

The majority of negative reviews received were battery-related – being unable to run for a long time, breaking down too quickly, or losing charge when it’s not in use.

Other common complaints are weak suction, hair becoming stuck to the brush (you require a scissor to remove them), unstable stick attachment, and smaller dirt containers getting stuck to wheels.

Epinions

Twenty-three people wrote an evaluation of the product in Epinions and 20% of those affirmed that they would recommend it to friends.

The people who shared their comments included pet owners, middle-aged women, and men, as well as parents. They loved it as it’s lightweight, simple to use, and even with tiny motors, it removes dirt, dust, and pet hair from the floor.

The company also stated that it might struggle with picking larger pieces of dirt and will not be as effective on more thick carpets.

Buzzillions

Twenty-four users left a review, only one left three stars, and one gave it a 1-star. Overall, it scored 4.3, which is like Amazon.

Many people love it since it is light, simple to use, and has decent cleaning capabilities. Some people have mentioned that it was their 2nd or third Eureka wireless purchase.

A few people complained about the fact that it has a long cleansing path but was not easy to remove, making it hard to access smaller areas with hand vacs.

Some complain that it is difficult to open the dirt container as well as the filter.

Conclusion

THE FINAL ADVICE

This product is perfect in…

Looking for a lightweight stick vacuum that can replace a broom or dustpan? Want to get rid of messes left on their flooring? Get this model!

It comes by a roll of brush, so larger dirt particles such as cheerios’ can also pick up. However, be aware that it can struggle to clean up large pieces of dirt.

It’s suitable for carpets and upholstery; however, don’t use it on thick or medium-sized carpets because it’s not durable enough.

Don’t think that the battery will last for long, but expect approximately 15 minutes on just one charge. It’s enough to get rid of tiny messes around your home.

Be sure that you empty your dirt tank each time. It gets filled quickly and it is important to keep the suction force. It could take between 15 to 17 hours to charge fully, but don’t completely discharge or keep it unattended for a long period because it’s going to cause it to die quickly.
