The ErgoRapido 2-in-1 vacuum is a compact and lightweight vacuum cleaner that lets you use only one item to clean nearly all of your belongings.
It is possible to use this vacuum cordless as a handheld or a stick, depending on your needs.
Electrolux offers 13 models in its ErgoRapido series of compact 2-in-one cordless vacuums.
The EL1030A has the strongest motor and longest running time. However, it’s also one of the priciest models.
Since this is essentially an instrument that is the body of a stick, it can offer the ability to be flexible.
But, it’s not going to have the same power as higher-end models like the Shark ION Flex or Dyson V8.
It’s not for everyone since it has a few issues that we would like to be rectified and when they release the latest versions. Therefore, you’ll find many negative reviews on the internet.

What Is the Electrolux Ergorapido El1030A Capable Of?
Because it doesn’t have the same power as higher-end brands, the cordless is suitable for floors with no carpet.
Don’t expect it to be a deep cleaning on medium or thick pile carpets as it’s not agitated or has the power.
It comes with a motorized brush which will aid in the removal of dirt from carpets, but you can’t switch it off.
It’s equipped with an 18-volt lithium-ion battery which will take about 5 hours to recharge. However, if you’re using it in the beginning, it will require an entire day to recharge (24 days).
The battery is contained within the body. It comes in a base for charging, which lets you store the battery upright.

Here Are the Key Features

1. Battery Life
Expect anything from 10 to 30 minutes from one charge.
If you are using the normal setting, it can last for the entire 30 minutes, but when you are running at high speeds, the time will decrease between 10 and 16 minutes, but it will depend on whether or not you switch it on and off frequently or if you don’t shut it off completely.
2. Time to Charge
The initial charge should take approximately 24 hours. Following that, it will take about 5 hours to charge the next time.
Note that battery power is integrated inside the unit, and it isn’t possible to replace it on your own. This is one reason that Electrolux provided a two-year warranty.
If it fails to function within the time frame, you may contact the company (1-800-896-9756) and request a replacement; however, after this period, it will be a waste of time.
3. Attachments and Accessories
Two attachments are included – one is a crevice, and the other is a brush tool. They can be kept in the charger. This is pretty cool because you don’t need to search for a space to store it. Just attach it to the wall.
It comes with an extended warranty of 2-years.
5. Filter Clean Up
- To take the filter off, remove the handheld from the body, then separate the filter’s front to reveal the back of the filter.
- Now push on the 2 locks that secure it to release the filter, and then empty the dirt of the container.
- This is the difficult part. You’ll have to apply your fingers to get rid of dirt from the filter mesh. The best option is to use a portable vacuum cleaner to remove dirt from this area.
It comes with a lever you can push and then release in order to shake the dirt off. It’s like tapping or shaking something to get rid of anything that is stuck on it.
Both cloth and mesh filters can be washed, but you shouldn’t wash them in the dishwasher.
6. Carpet Performance
For low piles and even carpets or rugs, it shouldn’t have problems removing small to medium-sized particles and dirt.
It’s a problem when you put it on something extra plush. It is difficult to move around and is almost impossible to move on dense carpets, mainly due to its tiny wheels and a small clearance, which makes it ineffective for these kinds of flooring.
7. Bare Floor Performance
This device is most effective on a clean floor, taking dirt and debris efficiently but only to a certain degree.
As we know, the more dirt becomes more agglomerated. Hence the more difficult it becomes to wash.
It’s ideal for smaller to medium-sized dirt, so long as it can fit under the head. The larger particles of dirt won’t fit and could cause even more trouble.
Be cautious if your floors are easily scratched, since if the head of the brush becomes dirty, it may cause some damage.
Examine it frequently to determine the need for cleaning. The good thing is that it’s not difficult to take off from the brush roll.
8. Pet Hair Removal
Pet owners should not be shocked by this, as it is not an instrument for grooming pets. This is perfect at removing pet hair from flooring or carpet. It would be difficult to use it to wash pet hair off furniture.
Do not count on it to remove pet hair from the carpets since it cannot force it out or the attachments to help loosen it up.
9. Cleansing the Edges
It can’t get rid of everything around the edges since the air vents or inlets are just a few inches from the edge, and it isn’t very effective in moving dirt around in this region.
Another option is to use the handheld in conjunction with the crevice tool to collect particles.

With more than 300 ratings and counting on Amazon and other forums, youtube, and other websites, we have an impressive pool of actual “testers” to give us an account of how the product had performed in the long run, not just when it was new, but for a period that ranges from a few weeks up to some years.
There’s one thing that all good reviews have in common: they all employed it on bare floors or in carpets with thin layers.
Other positives people appreciate are:
- Charging station which lets them store it vertically, thus saving space.
- Good battery life.
- The swivel feature, which allows you to easily move around.
You can find out the comments of people who enjoyed and did not like in the section on pros and cons.
There are many negative reviews, and the majority of these were from users who tried using it on carpets but didn’t achieve the desired results because it was not made for carpets that are medium or thick.
Other people who scored low were those who had lemons – batteries that failed to break down during the warranty period that should be covered under warranty, but an inconvenience.
