What Was Our Favorite Thing About the Bissell Featherweight Stick Vacuum 2033?
1. The Design Is Amazing. It’s Simple and Yet So Effective
BISSELL Featherweight’s plastic body isn’t as strong as other stick vacuums. The base had scratches before opening the box.
It’s not surprising that the design feels fragile, considering it’s lightweight. However, the steel handle makes it feel more solid.
As the pieces fit together, it is easy to put them together. It was not difficult, although it took some elbow grease. It is also very easy to swap the floor head and crevice. You only need to slide them in and out.
We were also able to remove the handle and use the BISSELL Featherweight to vacuum our hands. The process is simple and quick.
One of our favorite features is the two-in-1 vacuum conversion. This makes it easy to clean tight spaces.
It’s ideal for spot cleaning. This is a great tool for pet owners to clean up their pet hair.
The large clip button makes it easy to remove the dirt cup. You can easily empty the dirt cup into the trash and replace it. This will allow you to continue cleaning without any interruption.
2. Unbeatable Bare Floor Performance
This BISSELL stick vacuum is not known for its versatility. It can clean vinyl and laminate floors well.
However, it won’t work well on certain surfaces. For example, the floor head won’t glide on doormats, soft surfaces, or rugs.
The vacuum didn’t work well on the bathroom rug. The vacuum’s strong suction gathers the rug tightly and traps it in the head.
We tried several times, but the vacuum would not slide across the rug. We tried standing on one edge to secure it, but the vacuum wouldn’t move.
The entry doormat experienced the same issue. The floor nozzle does not seem to be able to glide on fabrics or soft surfaces.
The floor head was able to pick up a lot of dirt, debris, and hair from the hard floors. It has a good size suction opening, which can handle medium-sized dirt and debris.
It doesn’t come with a brush specifically for hardwood floors, but we didn’t notice any marks or scratches. It glides over all types of dirt and debris with ease.
It is great for cleaning upholstery. It was easy to clean the sofa’s back and between cushions.
3. It’s Light and Easy to Push
The best thing about the BISSELL lightweight stick vacuum? It’s easy to push on hard floors. It is lightweight at less than 4 pounds, requiring little effort to move around.
It glides easily on vinyl and laminate floors. It makes vacuuming a breeze.
It doesn’t come with a swivel head, so it can’t easily turn furniture or corners. Even without the swivel action, it was still easy to turn for me.
The problem is the bulkiness of the vacuum’s bottom. It won’t fit under small gaps or coffee tables. The crevice tool also presented the same problem. It does have some reach, but it is not flat. This is due to the bulk.
To reach the bottom of the furniture during cleaning, we moved it around. This can be quite a task if you have lots of furniture.
This vacuum is very lightweight and easy to use as a handheld vacuum. It is easy to grip, and it doesn’t strain the wrist.
It makes it easy to clean upholstery and crumbs from benches.

4. Convenient Dust Cup
The dust capacity of most handheld and stick vacuums is smaller than the average. However, this vacuum fills up fast!
Although 0.67 Liters isn’t the smallest dust container you’ll find, it has a major flaw.
It seems like the removable filter takes up half of its capacity because it has a thick plastic rim. This makes it easy to quickly fill up the dust cup, even if you are cleaning small spaces. However, we found it difficult to empty the dust cup when cleaning our entire house.
After cleaning a couple of rooms, we noticed less suction and had to empty the dirt cup.
It’s easy to do, but it’s not difficult. It’s easy to lift the clip, remove the filter and cup, and dump it in the trash.
5. Great Pick-ups For Pet Hair
Bissell Featherweight is a great option if you have problems with pet hair. This vacuum is great for cleaning pet hair regardless of the surface. This vacuum is ideal for cleaning your carpets and upholstery.
6. It’s Easy to Store
The BISSELL Featherweight is very easy to store due to its small size. However, there are some flaws. Its compact stick design makes it easy to fit in tight spaces. You don’t have to take it apart to save space.
The cord hook is a great feature. It’s easy to wrap the wire, so it doesn’t get lost in storage.
The biggest problem with this storage design is its inability to stand independently. It seems to tip over and immediately fall if you leave it standing.
To be safe, you must lean the device against something when it’s not used. Even this can be tricky.
It started sliding down the first time it was left leaning against a wall. The floor head had wheels that caused the slide.
This is why you need to be patient and careful when deciding the angle to lean.
It would make a great storage solution if it came with a hook. It is light, so hanging it would be an excellent way to store it. Bissell 3624 is an another vacuum cleaner which you can store easily.
7. Ultra-lightweight
It is lightweight and easy to maneuver. It has an ergonomic handle that makes cleaning large areas quick and simple. It also comes with a crevice tool to reach small areas and corners.
8. Effective Cleaning
BISSELL Featherweight is lightweight with impressive performance. It easily picks up dirt, dust, and other debris.
We began by testing the laminate floors with the floor nozzle for oats. All the oats were picked up in one slow pass. We repeated the test with flour to see how well flour picks up small particles. The results were nearly identical. It did have trouble with fine particles on hard floors. A fine layer of flour remained on the surface after one cleaning.
It was completely gone after the second cleaning.
Next, we tested the crevice tool with the handle vacuum to remove pet hairs from our couch cushion. Again, the BISSELL did an excellent job, lifting all the hairs in just a few passes. The vacuum left behind small particles like flour and fine hair. It was easy to fix with a few passes.

9. It Is Easy to Maintain
It is easy to store and maintain the stick vacuum. After cleaning, empty the container, clean it, and then store it properly. It doesn’t come with many parts, so it won’t take too much effort to maintain.
It is difficult to clean the dirt compartment. The gray release clip should be removed from the vacuum head. You will need to carefully pull the compartment out and empty it. If necessary, you can wash the compartment with warm water and detergent.
After each use, the cup filter must be cleaned frequently. The dirt compartment houses the filter, and it can be easily removed. Take it off and shake it to clean. If necessary, wash it with warm water. For effective cleaning, don’t forget about cleaning the mesh filter.
Because of its compact design, the stick vacuum can be stored easily after cleaning. The compact design means it won’t take up much space, and the cord can be wrapped easily. The handle is not foldable, so it may be too high for your shelves.
This BISSELL is easy to maintain. The parts are all easy to reach and require little maintenance. The dirt compartment is easily accessible by the gray release clip. It was easy to pull off the dirt compartment and dump it directly into the trash without touching any dirt or debris.
Any Negatives?
Short Cord
This corded vacuum must be plugged into an outlet. It comes with a short cord, so you will need to switch outlets when you work in large areas.
